This policy explains what information The One Page School (“we”, “us”) collects when you use theonepageschool.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us: full name, email address, mobile number, state, class, and your password (stored only in scrambled/hashed form — we cannot read it).
- Google sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We do not get your Google password.
- Learning activity: which courses you join, which lessons you open, your test answers, scores and attempts. We use this to show your course map colours, Report Card and revision lists.
- Payments: paid courses are paid through Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay; we only receive the order and payment status.
- Technical information: your browser stores small files (cookies and local storage) so you stay logged in and the site remembers settings such as your chosen view. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of visit) for security.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and let you log in (with email, mobile number or Google).
- To show your progress, mastered and weak topics, and certificates.
- To send account emails (for example password reset) and, if you keep it switched on, a weekly email listing topics to revise. You can stop that email any time from My Account or from the link in the email.
- To process payments and handle refunds.
- To keep the site safe and fix problems.
We do not sell your information. We do not show third-party advertising.
Who else handles your information
- Google (Firebase Authentication) — only if you use Google sign-in.
- Razorpay — only if you pay for a course.
- Our web hosting provider — stores the website and its database.
Each of these follows its own privacy policy.
Students under 18
Many of our students are school children. If you are under 18, please use the site with the permission of your parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see, correct or delete their child’s account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and learning record while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal details, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records).
Your choices
- See and change your details on the My Account page.
- Stop the weekly revision email from My Account.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or for your account to be deleted, by emailing admin@theonepageschool.com.
